Bryan County Bark Park

Community Dog Park in Richmond Hill, GA

Welcome to the Bryan County Bark Park’s official website.  Founded in 2012, the Bryan County Bark Park Association is working diligently to develop a dog park for our community.  The Bryan County Commissioners granted use of 1.5 acres of land in Henderson Park, but all the costs associated with building the dog park are the responsibility of the Bark Park Association. After administrative and weather related delays, the land was selectively cleared in February but additional site work is needed before fencing the park begins.

Because it is important the Bark Park be universally accessible to everyone, one of our first objectives is to build a scenic trailway from our Bark Parking lot to the Bark Park Lobby (entrance). We’re making the 600’ path easily accessible to visitors with strollers and it will be ADA compliant (handicapped accessible).  The cost of all of this is significant and ongoing.

Please make a donation and sponsor or attend our second annual fundraiser on May 1st so that together we can ensure that the dogs in Bryan County have a safe and fun place to go.  Every dollar counts so please visit our Donations and Fundraising pages.
